It's tough for Australia to break new ground.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and once went nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the largest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

"The possibility to play and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that regard, sort of got me going," said Healy.

In recent days a sense they will win from any position has become more firm - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one stage.
